Clinic times are subject to weather conditions and volunteer veterinarian availability. Clinics may be cancelled or rescheduled if temperatures reach 35°C or above, if other extreme weather conditions occur, or if a volunteer vet becomes unavailable.
While these circumstances are outside of our control, we will always communicate any changes as promptly as possible and do our very best to keep clients informed.

​The Tiny Vet Clinic

​ACT Pet Crisis Support is proud to deliver veterinary services through our Tiny Vet Clinic (TVC).
This initiative exists to support pet owners who are valid healthcare card holders and are experiencing financial hardship. Our service provides access to affordable veterinary care as a temporary solution for unexpected or urgent costs.
While it is not intended as a long-term replacement for regular veterinary care, we may provide ongoing support in cases where pets have health-critical conditions requiring continuous medication or treatment.
As a 100% volunteer-run charity, we rely entirely on donations to continue operating. Our funds are limited, and while we strive to help as many pets as possible, our assistance should not be considered an alternative to maintaining a regular relationship with a veterinary clinic.

Pet owners with a Healthcare Card must pre-register for the Tiny Vet Clinic by completing our registration form here.
🚫 Important: To help our team manage appointments fairly, registrations submitted on the day of a clinic will not be accepted.
👉Please note: consultations are always free, but pet owners are required to cover the cost of medications, vaccinations and microchipping, unless prior arrangements have been approved by our administration team.
Pricing as of 1 March 2026
💉 Annual Vaccinations: $40 per pet
🛡️ NexGard Parasite Prevention: $15 per dose
🧪 In-House Pathology: $10
🔬 Same-Day Additional In-House Pathology: $5
✂️ Nail Trims: $5
💊 Medication: $0.70 per tablet
👉We are happy to prescribe and dispense medications for the pet physically examined at the clinic on the day of attendance. We will not prescribe, dispense medications, or provide written prescriptions for any other animals in the household — including pets that have previously been seen at the Tiny Vet Clinic.
🐾 👉From 1 July 2026, we will no longer provide microchipping for new puppies and kittens - please read our "Changes are Coming brochure" - HERE
👉From 1 July 2026, the Tiny Vet Clinic Will Not provide services for pets that are not desexed, unless: The pet is too young to be desexed; or There is a medical reason to delay or avoid desexing. For desexing, organisations such as RSPCA ACT and Pets in the Park may be able to help.
👉We are not equipped for emergency care, radiographs, or surgical procedures (including desexing).
👉There is a pet treatment limit of 3 pets per household as per out Pet Ownership policy (see TVC FAQs). 
👉Please also only bring one pet from each household per visit, to ensure we are able to prioritise care for all our patients. You are welcome to attend a future clinic with additional pets. 
👉If you are unable to attend a clinic that you have booked, you must notify us as soon as possible so the appointment can be offered to another pet in need. Failure to provide notice will result in the appointment being recorded as a “no-show.” If you are recorded as a no-show on two (2) occasions, a $20 non-refundable deposit will be required prior to any future bookings. This deposit will be applied to your scheduled appointment but will be forfeited if you do not attend.​
👉We operate on a triage system; urgent cases will always be seen first. If you are attending for a vaccination, there may be times when it needs to be postponed until a later clinic.
👉Clinics are scheduled to run on the first three Wednesdays of each month from 10am - 12pm, Clinic times are subject to weather conditions and volunteer veterinarian availability. ​Important Guidelines For Pet Owners

• 🐶 Dogs – Must be on a secure lead and under control at all times. (A dog dragging its lead is not considered under control.)
• 🐱 Cats – Must remain in their carriers until safely inside the clinic, where they can settle and relax.
• 🚫 Breeding-related care – Please read our important Changes are Coming pamphlet We do not provide litter vaccinations or treat breeding-related illnesses. We support responsible pet ownership and encourage desexing rather than breeding.
