If you are a pet owner in need of assistance, your first step is to visit a veterinary clinic.
Any vet clinic in Canberra or the surrounding region can apply to ACT Pet Crisis Support on your behalf if you have no other means to pay for urgent or life-saving care.
If your pet’s issue is not urgent, and you are a pensioner, Healthcare Card holder, or experiencing homelessness, you may qualify for help through our Tiny Vet Clinic.

For non-urgent or elective procedures, you may also be eligible for an interest-free loan through local organisations such as Care, Good Shepherd, or Centrelink. More details are available on the PAWS Network page.
